About Us

The school has been running since 1984 and in that time we have trained many successful dancers, both in the

amateur and professional worlds. We teach children to dance from age 3 right up to 18, when they go off to dance

college. Even students who choose not to pursue dance as their career, leave knowing they have the skills to take on

any tasks in the future, because of the self discipline, dedication and respect they have learnt from dancing.

Some of our past students have gone on to perform in the West End, Touring companies and International shows. Others have or are currently training at vocational schools: Laine Theatre Arts, Performers College, Urdang Academy, Italia Conti, Bird College, Arts Educational and Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Our students have also been accepted on numerous occasions for the London Children's Ballet, and English Youth Ballet.

Dance examinations are held regularly throughout the year, with all dancers encouraged to participate. All grades are undertaken from Pre-Primary to Advanced and Vocational levels, including all medal levels. Besides examinations all our dancers are invited to perform in the Biannual show, which is an exciting and much anticipated event in our dancing calendar! We also enter our dancers into regional and national festivals on a yearly basis.
